Barn is one of the oldest of the original farm buildings dating back to the early 1800’s with original stone walls and a vaulted ceiling.
With an extension added in 1998, downstairs the cottage offers one double bedroom with shower room en-suite, one standard twin bedroom (or zip and link king bed), one small twin bedroom, a bathroom with overhead shower and upstairs to an open plan kitchen/lounge with dining area.
The ‘upside-down’ accommodation makes the most of the stunning views over our lakes and surrounding countryside.

“Barn Cottage provides whatever you need for perfect coastal holidays” East
Rose Cottages provide a dream coastal holiday destination with
wonderful accommodation and welcoming hosts. The site offers you
whatever you need to enjoy being away. Whether it's a calm and slow time
unplugging from the world spent in nature wandering around the
beautiful grounds with multiple lakes, stepping a few meters outside to
explore the wider area and mingle up and close with the sheep, cows and
horses wandering around, snuggling inside with a book. Or being a launch
pad from which to explore the gorgeous coastal area with places within
easy drive such as Port Issac, Polzeath, and Padstow (to name a few),
and catching up with friends and family over a meal in the cottage, or
play some football with the kids outside. Accommodation is very clean
and comfortable. We stayed in the Barn Cottage with three adults, three
teens and a dog and it was working well for us, especially as it had two
bathrooms. The living room/kitchen area is much bigger than it looks in
the photos and has beautiful views of the fields all around. Another
on-site highlight is Becky's baking (Cottage host). After sampling quite
a few, think my favourite are the chocolate brownies, followed by a
close second the scones. Thank you for having us Becky, Matthew and
family.
