Mowhay Cottage
Friday changeover Sleeps maximum of 4 guests in two bedrooms.
Mowhay was originally a tractor shed converted into a holiday cottage in 2000. The cottage is a unique shape with two pitched roof’s and a roundhouse, and occupies a prominent position on the property with panoramic views of the moor.
There is one double bedroom with large shower room (wet room) en-suite, one twin bedroom (or zip and linked king bed), a bathroom with overhead shower and an open plan kitchen/lounge with dining area. The cottage has gas central heating making it warm and cosy all year round.
Mowhay - for a stay in April 2025 “Perfect!” We've visited a number of times and hope to visit more in the future. The cottage is always spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The new cakes we had this time were beautiful! A real treat. We ate them whilst enjoying the views from the cottage over the moors. It's such a peaceful spot to stay. We enjoy having two separate bathrooms as my teenage son thinks showers should be hour long experiences. So this is ideal. There is so much to do in the area that you can't get bored. Walks across the moors and the hills are always a favourite but you can get to Tintagel, to the beaches and Padstow in twenty minutes so it's the perfect spot for exploring Cornwall. We'll be back!
